First cat# on cover, second on labels.
Variant with yellow print on the jacket instead of [r17772274], which has red print. Regardless of which color print is on the jacket, all discs were pressed by [l313266] (as evidenced by the 5-point star in the dead wax). Variants with and without deep groove labels exist. The deep groove labels were contract pressings done by [l406973] (denoted by an "I" in the dead wax) while the non-deep groove labels were pressed in-house at Capitol. No combination of jacket color and label variation can be considered more or less a first pressing than any other.
Recorded in Los Angeles, CA, June 4, 1954 (A1, A4, B2, B3) and July 1, 1954 (A2, A3, B1, B4) [jazzdisco.org].
